Chance In A MillionThis was the first thing I ever wrote that someone paid me for. It was a situation comedy about a man who is the constant victim of coincidence, and it ran for three series. After the first two episodes, I was lucky enough to write the rest with my kind and clever chum, Richard Fegen. It was a partnership that prospered for an impressively productive twelve years. The series starred Simon Callow and Brenda Blethyn and was directed by Michael Mills. I'd never heard of any of them at the time and had no idea how lucky we were to be teamed with such talent.
